Born from a long love affair with snow, backcountry adventure, resort riding, and tinkering to get the design perfect (since 2019, to be exact), the Best Vest in the West is finally here. Some might call it a vest pack. Others might call it a wearable piece of art. 

This is our take on a ski/snowboard pack built to thrive both in the backcountry and at the resort. The idea is simple: the stuff you grab all the time lives up front (camera, phone, snacks, water, Voile straps, radio—yes, all of it), and the stuff you don’t need until later rides quietly in the back (extra layers, repair kit, big food, avy gear, you know the drill).

Seven different cinch systems mean this thing dials in like a dream. Layer up, layer down—no problem. A load-bearing hip belt takes the weight off your shoulders, while dual side cinches let you fine-tune the fit. Shoulder load lifters pull the pack in close so it moves with you, not against you. Secure, snug, and confidence-boosting.

Heads up: this is a vest pack, not a traditional backpack. It fits differently (in a good way) and runs a little warmer than your standard pack—think cozy, not clammy.

We worked hard to bring three sizes to the table, Small, Medium, and Large, and they’re wildly adjustable to fit a wide range of bodies. Larger sizes have a slightly bigger yoke and pack portion, while smaller sizes feature a smaller front panel, yoke, and pack. All sizes are designed to feel balanced, intentional, and just plain right.
